Song Analysis
Main Form
Intoro → Theme(A, B, C)→ Solo(D)→ Last Theme(E, F)
* A, B, C... are rehearsal letters which use for rehearsals and practice. Not related to the section of the song.
Theme (A, B, C)
Form: a, a, b, c (8 measures in each section)
Key: a is E major, b modulates to parallel key E minor, and c modulates to the relative key G major.
Solo (D)
I created the solo section from the idea of improvisation. It's the most jazz way.
In jazz, perform improvisation with the same chord progression of the theme.
In this section, I composed the melody on chord progression a and a (8 measures + 8 measures).
Last Theme (E, F)
The last theme goes back to the first theme b and c.
Then repeat c to the ending.
